The KiloVault iT app offers a comprehensive solution for monitoring the status of KiloVault HLX+ series lithium solar batteries, specifically compatible with the HLX+1200, HLX+2400, and HLX+3600 models. Utilizing Bluetooth technology, the app provides real-time data readings essential for battery performance evaluation, making it a valuable tool for both users and technical support teams in troubleshooting or general monitoring of the battery health.

Advanced Features:

• PLUSNET: The KiloVault iT PlusNET feature enables multiple lithium batteries to function cohesively as a unified system for data collection. In this configuration, a primary battery leads the data exchange among the linked batteries while automatically disconnecting communication to minimize self-discharge. Bluetooth connectivity remains active for monitoring purposes through the KiloVault iT app. Users have the flexibility to reactivate PlusNET at their discretion via the app. For optimal power conservation, it is advisable to deactivate PlusNET if communication cables are not connected between batteries.
• Storage Mode: The app also facilitates a toggle between Active Mode and Storage Mode for the HLX+ series battery. When in Storage Mode, Bluetooth functionality is disabled, thereby reducing self-discharge rates and extending charge retention. In this mode, the battery will be undetectable via the KiloVault iT app and will require a reset through a 5-second long press of the power button to reactivate.
• KiloVault Bridge Monitoring: The KiloVault iT app has additional compatibility with the KiloVault Bridge (sold separately), enhancing monitoring capabilities. This integration allows for direct communication with the battery management system (BMS) rather than relying on traditional shunt-based measurements. Consequently, users can obtain more precise state of charge readings, along with other vital metrics such as voltage, current, capacity, warning codes, and configurations for both parallel and series battery setups to preemptively address potential issues and maximize battery lifespan.

Limitations:

• The app is limited to monitoring one battery at a time.
• Your smartphone must support Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.
• The monitored battery must be within a maximum distance of 16 feet (5 meters).
• <liTo switch monitoring to another device, users must exit the app on the first device due to inherent Bluetooth restrictions.
